Meet The Team

Dr. Billie Zeller, DVM

Dr. Zeller grew up in Metairie, Louisiana where her love of large animals shined through the city landscape by visiting a local neighborhood petting zoo daily to interact with the horses and goats. She studied animal sciences at Louisiana Tech University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in 2002. She then attended Louisiana State University, School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2007. After graduation, Dr. Zeller spent 3 years as an equine veterinarian in Florida. The charm of Louisiana called her back where she then began practicing at a high volume mixed animal practice in Central Louisiana. She then accepted an opportunity to move back home to south Louisiana in 2013 and has practiced mixed animal medicine and emergency medicine since. Dr. Zeller loves every aspect of veterinary medicine and enjoys not only helping the animals but also their human caregivers. In her spare time, she enjoys taking care of her menagerie of animals including horses, ducks, dogs, cats, chickens, peacocks, turkeys, pigs, goats, turtles and tortoises.  She also enjoys exercise and spending time with her family, friends, and DJ.

Anjel Broach

Anjel is a lifelong resident of the Covington/Northshore area. She has devoted 15 years into the medical field but when given the opportunity has chosen to follow her passion alongside Dr. Zeller in her pursuit to allow all pet parents to feel confident trusting a team that will treat your angels as if they were their own.

When Anjel isn’t working she, alongside her wife, Cas, devote their lives to their adorable rescue, Deuce, as well as their newest baby, Bentley!

Melissa has been in veterinary medicine for over a decade. She has had the privilege since day 1 to assist Dr. Zeller to make her dream hospital thrive! Melissa has both large animal and small animal fur-babies at home. On her time off she enjoys spending time with family, rodeoing with her son, and fitness.

Her dream is to have enough land to rescue all the animals that need a temporary, or permanent home. She has her own rescue pup and three grand dogs!
