Meet Our Amazing Care Team at Lacombe Veterinary Hospital!
Billie Zeller, DVM
Dr. Zeller grew up in Metairie, Louisiana where her love of large animals shined through the city landscape by visiting a local neighborhood petting zoo daily to interact with the horses and goats. She studied animal sciences at Louisiana Tech University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in 2002. She then attended Louisiana State University, School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2007. After graduation, Dr. Zeller spent 3 years as an equine veterinarian in Florida. The charm of Louisiana called her back where she then began practicing at a high volume mixed animal practice in Central Louisiana. She then accepted an opportunity to move back home to south Louisiana in 2013 and has practiced mixed animal medicine and emergency medicine since. Dr. Zeller loves every aspect of veterinary medicine and enjoys not only helping the animals but also their human caregivers. Jennifer
She recently retired after 21 years as the Facilities Manager for a Church & School in New Orleans and wanted to be closer to home in Mandeville allowing more time for my family and her 4 legged crew. She met Dr. Zeller when looking for a Veterinarian for her foster dogs. She loved her knowledge and compassion for animals and was not ready to fully retire. She always wanted to work with animals, so when she learned of an opening at her clinic I quickly applied. She has since been enjoying the camaraderie of her coworkers along with learning and working with animals at Lacombe Veterinary Hospital.
